1817-99, a selection of Liverpool Ship Letters (10) with 1817 entire letter from New York to London bearing "liverpool/ship letter" (S.8) in black; 1826 entire letter from New York "P Birmingham" to London bearing well struck "ship letter/liverpool" (S.12) in black; 1832 part entire from New York to London with "liverpool/ship lre" (S.3) in black; 1838 from London to America bearing Belfast in green and "pr. packet/boston" in black d.s., alongside "19/cents" handstamp; 1839 entire letter from New York to London with "liverpool/ship letter" (S.14) in black; 1839 entire letter from Cuba to Paris bearing same; 1840 to London bearing same; 1841 entire letter from New York to London with "paid" horseshoe in red, "new york" d.s. in red and, on the reverse, "america" crescent and London receiving d.s.; 1844 entire to London bearing dated "15 au 14/liverpool.shp" (S.16) in black; and Liverpool packet mail (P.18) in red on 1899 envelope from Gold Coast to London. Also Wales 1843 entire to Bristol "P Sydney" bearing "milford/ship letter" (S.3) in black; and 1836 entire letter from Cuba to London bearing "swansea/ship letter" (S.3) in black). Generally fine and a good group.
