1806-49, a selection of Acts and Notices including 1806 (16 July) King George III "Act to amend Three Acts, made in the Thirty-fifth, Forty-fifth, and Forty-second Years of His present Majesty, relating to the Conveyance of Letters and Packets by the Post"; 1823 (18 July) King George IV "Act to consolidate and amend the Laws for punishing Mutiny and Desertion of Officers and Soldiers in the Service of the East Inda Company; and to authorize Soldiers and Sailors in the East Indies to send and receive Letters at a reduced Rate of Postage"; also four "Ship Letters Inward" notices titled "By Command of the Postmaster General. Notice to the Public, and Instructions to all Postmasters, Sub-Postmasters, and Letter Receivers. General Post Officer" for 1849, January, March, April and May; each giving current rates, and wind speeds and direction at Southampton, Liverpool and Dover. The latter notices with some peripheral faults otherwise fine and an interesting group.
