1780-1843, a selection of Deal Ship Letters (7) with 1780 entire (reinforced) from Antigua to London "P. C. Mcdonough" bearing "deal/ship-lre" (S.3) on face and "20/se" Bishop mark on reverse; 1809 entire letter from Nassau "Per 'Patent'" to London bearing "Ship Letter/deal" (S.7); 1832 entire from Cape of Good Hope to Edinburgh bearing "post office/general/cape/town" crowned circle and "india letter/deal" (In.1) in black; 1839 entire to Bath "Pr Mona" bearing "india letter/deal" (In.1) in black; 1840 part entire to Bristol bearing "deal/ship letter" (S.8) with similar 1841 and 1843 entires to London bearing S.8, all in black. Generally fine and a good group.
