c.1708 (13 Sept.) entire from Winslow to London, carried by private messenger to Brickhill P.O., thin to London; the entire struck with first type "winslow" straight line handstamp, the reverse with "se/13" Bishop Mark. Initially rated "2", though this was deleted owing to it having been addressed to Lord Gower. Fine and scarce.
