1661 (20 Nov.) entire letter from George Harper of Yarmouth with address panel to Mr Thomas Pengelly in Bishops Gate Street, London, the face with "3" Pengelly manuscript charge (80-140 miles), the reverse with superb "no/22" Bishop marking alongside manuscript ", opening well for display, the letter clearly dated inside "Yarmouth, November 20 1661"; very small paper tear well clear of address panel. R.P.S. Certificate (2015). A hugely important early marking.
