Pearson, C.M.S., at Rubaga written to Giegler, then Chief Engineer of the Sudanese Telegraphs, starting "M'tesa has suddenly offered to send letters to Mrooli for us...", including a list of necessaries and mentioning the arrival of Copplestone and Stokes and also that of the Mission from Algeria  consisting of five Jesuits
Note: The writer had arrived in Rubaga (Kampala) via the Nile route in February 1879.
