1861-1910 group of covers and cards (21) including incoming mail with 1861 envelope from England to Port Elizabeth bearing GB 6d. cancelled '158' and with 'cape of good hope' and 'port elizabeth' markings on the reverse, 1875 stampless envelope from Prussia to Cape, with boxed 't.' at top and manuscript '1/4d' applied, 1901 envelope from Stromness to Kimberley bearing GB 1d. lilac where it was censored and remained unclaimed where the 'advertised/ unclaimed' cachet was applied, 1907 postcard from New Zealand to Mafeking and re-directed to Grahamstown, 1910 Germany re-directed postal stationery card to Berseba, 1910 postcard with 'paquebot' straight line boxed handstamp, a further group of re-directed incoming mail, some with Tax and Censor or instructional markings or tape and including 1901 envelope from Bellevue Camp Simonstown to the military commandant, Klerksdorp bearing 1900 1d. carmine (5) and with 'opened under martial law' censor tape and with further censor markings, other cards and envelopes with a range of interesting markings; good to fine
