A group of covers and other items (8) comprising 1895 (17 July) incoming double rate envelope to Mafeking, bearing GB 1897 2½d. pair tied by Morpeth squared-circle d.s. and showing arrival c.d.s. (11.8) on reverse; the envelope with recipient's notation at left; 1894 (8 Sept.) envelope to Sweden, bearing British Bechuanaland 1891 1d. (4, one on reverse) and, on reverse, 1885 2d., 1891 2d. and Protectorate 1890 ½d. (3), all tied by "677" barred numeral and showing, on reverse, Kanye, Mafeking and arrival datestamps; Bechuanaland Border Police 1892 (22 Dec.) and 1893 (29 Mar.) vouchers, the former superb circular "fort gaberones/"G"/troop b.b.p./southern protectorate" datestamp in purple, the latter with fine "headquarters/b.b.p." datestamp in red requesting authority for the sale of ammunition to the Rifle Club and 1948-51 group of four KGVI covers comprising 1948 printed envelope to London bearing 1½d. tied by scarce 'sefhare' c.d.s., 1950 typed envelopes sent Registered to USA (2) one bearing 2/6d. and the other 5/- both tied by 'serowe' c.d.s., and larger typed envelope sent Registered to USA bearing 5/- tied by 'pitsani' c.d.s.; a fine group
