A small group of covers (3) comprising 1892 (19 Apr.) 4d. registered envelope (1889 issue, size H) to Germany, bearing 1888 ½d. pair, 1d. (3) and 2d. (2), all neatly tied by "vryburg" c.d.s., showing red Registered London transit d.s. (16.5) with, on reverse, Cape Town and arrival datestamps. A most attractive franking. A very scarce usage of this size envelope, 1893 (2 Aug.) envelope to Kimberley, bearing 1891 2d. tied by "kuruman/bechuanaland" c.d.s. with another strike alongside and showing, on reverse, Vryburg (4.8) and Beaconsfield (6.8) datestamps. A neat franking and 1895 (30 May) envelope registered to Bordeaux, bearing 1888 ½d. and 1891 1d. (2), 2d. and 4d., all tied by "vryburg/b.b." c.d.s., showing red manuscript registration marking and Registered London (18.6) transit d.s. with arrival c.d.s. on reverse. An attractive and underpaid (½d.) franking. A fine trio
