1894 (2 Mar.) an official cover registered to James Hart (brother of Robert Hart) in Darjeeling sent "Parcel Post" with a good strike of the official seal and Kalimpong registered oval, a further seal on the reverse with Kalimpong (9.3) and Darjeeling c.d.s. This cover was sent from a political officer in Yatung by Chinese courier, and the Sikkim leg was handled by the Indian Post Office as official mail. This is a rare Yizhan-Indian Post combination cover. Photo
