1938-40 three envelopes from Tsarong Shape in Lhasa with his device printed on the flap with 1938 (28 Sept.) envelope registered to Shanghai bearing India 6½a. franking tied by type B5 c.d.s. with type GE registration label, returned to sender with numerous transit marks via Madras and with return c.d.s. (31.12); (28 May) envelope registered to New York with India 6½a. franking tied by type B5 c.d.s. with type GE registration label with New York arrival (28.4) on the reverse. There is also 1940 envelope to New York, the three Tibetan adhesives have been washed off but were tied by Lhasa postmarks, with China 50c. franking tied by Si-kang c.d.s. and sent via Kunming and Hanoi with an array of backstamps.
