1933 (3-5 Apr.) envelope sent air mail to Kilburn bearing India K.G.V 1a.3p. pair and air mail 6a. tied by fine strikes of the "houston mount everest flight/purnea" datestamp in purple, with Air Mail etiquette, pencil note on the reverse reads, "Carried on first flight over Everest on Apr. 3rd, postmarked at Purnea on return to base" but is not signed. This would appear to have been carried on the first flight, a similar envelope to the same recipient was carried on the Kanchenjunga flight on the 4th April. Photo
