1940 (c.) an important Royal document featuring the Royal Seal of King Pritwi Bir Bikram (introduced in 1906), engraved with the twelve signs of the zodiac, struck in vermilion, the reverse bears the large rectangular seals of Prime Minister Juddha Shamsher, C-in-C Padma Shamsher and generals Mohun, Baber, Kaiser Sham and one other. These handstamp were only applied on important Royal documents. Fine and scarce. Photo
