Kuti Court: 1897 (Oct.) native envelope from the Kuti Court to Kathmandu bearing, on the reverse, the large and ornate official seal of the court in black and a fine strike of the boxed Tatapani Customs cachet with manuscript date insertion (scarce), Chautra transit and Dhulikhel negative c.d.s. transit. This was carried by Nepalese couriers to the nearby town of Tatapani from where it was posted free of charge. A good cover. Photo
