1930 (c.) yellow silk-lined envelope with ornate crest of the Garuda on reverse of the Panchen Lama printed in red, blue, black and green, with a fine and complete example of his red wax seal on the flap, with the original three page letter showing the same ornate crest at the top of each page and headed "Ban Chan Tibetan". The envelope with a few imperfections but rare mail when the Panchen Lama was exiled in China. Photo
