Ireland, Edward IV (1461-1470 // 1471-1483), "Cross and Pellets" Coinages, Pennies, Dublin (5), 1465-1467, First Issue (?), (m.m.) EDWARD DI GRA DNS hYBE, double saltire stops, crowned bust facing, no obverse marks in fields, rev. CIVITAS DVBLIn, long cross and trio of pellets in angles, no mark to centre, 0.67g, m.m. cinquefoil [?] (Burns Du-1bH; S.6315); also, 1470-1473, Second Issue, similar, two pellets over crown, rev. as before, but quatrefoil at centre, 0.39g, m.m. rose [?] (Burns Du-11b; S.6357B); another, 1473-1479, Third Issues (3), similar although mullets now flanking crown, 0.57g (Burns Du-22; S.6373K); another, similar, but pellets now either side of neck, reve. additional small pellets in second quarter quadrant, 0.46g (Burns Du-6a; S.6373G); lastly, much as last with pellets by neck, rev. no quatrefoil, 0.51g (Burns Du-5; S.6373F), the first of heavier weight and clipped as struck, toned, a bolder fine, the remainder fair to very fine, some with traces of porosity (5)
