Ireland, John, as King (1199-1216), Third Coinage, Pennies, c. 1208-1212, Dublin (3), Roberd, IOHANNES REX, crowned facing bust holding sceptre with rose to right in triangle, rev. ROBERD • ON • DIVE • whorl over crescent with three stars in triangle, crosses on vertices and over each part of inscription, 0.97g, 9h; another, Penny, Willem, similar, two bars under collar, rev. W[ILL]EM ON DIVE, as before, 1.22g, 9h (Ulster Museum 389 same dies; DF 50; S.6228A); lastly, Willelm P, as first, rev. WILELM • P • ON • DIVE, 1.33g, (S.6228), first and last with porous surfaces, last off-centre on reverse, the last two scarce, fair to fine (3)
