Hiberno-Norse (c. 1065-1100), Phase V, Penny, 'Anchor and Pellets' Type, Dublin, in the style of an Æthelred II Long Cross Penny, stylised legend, draped bust left, annulet on neck, quatrefoil behind, rev. stylised legend, voided long cross, anchor in second quarter, pellet in first and fourth, annulet in third, 0.95g (cf. SCBI 8 [British Museum] 157-167 [for reverse]; SCBI 22 [Copenhagen], 256; DF -; S.6138), lightly crimped, otherwise with a uniform dark tone, a pleasing very fine
