Hiberno-Norse (c. 1060-1065), Phase IV, Penny, 'Scratched Die' Type, Dublin, in the style of an Æthelred II Long Cross Penny, stylised legend, draped bust left, rev. stylised legend, voided long cross, crude stylised hand with three fingers in one quarter, scratched cross and two pellets in clockwise adjacent, possibly pellets in other quadrants, 1.08g, 12h (Dolley A/b; SCBI 8 [British Museum], 147; DF 25; S.6134), heavily double struck, otherwise of good metal, poor to fair
