Hiberno-Norse (c. 1035-1060), Phase III, Penny, Dublin, in the style of an Æthelred II Long Cross Penny, draped bust left, with pointed nose, rev. stylised legend, voided long cross, stylised hand in first and fourth quarters, 0.76g (Dolley A/a; SCBI 8 [British Museum], 125 same obverse die; DF 24; S.6132), lightly crimped and porous to patchily field-toned surfaces, otherwise residually lustrous, almost very fine for strike
