Hiberno-Manx, Sitric II "Silkbeard" Olafsson (c. 995-1036), Penny, c. 1025-1030, in the style of an Æthelred II Long Cross Penny, stylised legend, draped bust left, additional line roughly parallel to nose before forehead, quatrefoil of pellets at start of inscription and behind neck, rev. stylised legend, , voided long cross, single pellet in each quarter, 0.40g (SCBI 8 [British Museum], 203; S.7400), heavily chipped, otherwise of stable fabric, lightly toned and with attractive details to key devices, strictly about very fine, but extremely rare
