Durango-Papasquiaro Sub # 8 25c. Red (#15-72), imperforate, showing the rare sub-type #8, with margins all around and used; surface scuff and diagonal crease, but very scarce. Durango is the only district that applied additional sub-office number overprints to twelve suboffices for a brief period (September 1872-May 1873), all being very rare. 2025 MEPSI certificate. Scott 95 var; NF $250.
