Brown, trio of examples: #71-1865, #48-1866 and #55-1866, all in unused condition. #71 has good margins -just cut into at lower left-; #48 with tight margins with part o.g. and clear impression; #55 displays small margins and is cut into at lower left. Printed in a limited run of just 2,403 copies, this stamp was part of a trial issue intended for local city mail during 1865 and 1866. Two are accompanied by a MEPSI certificate (2023, 2024).
