1856 (12 Apr.) a large piece addressed to Esequibo bearing 4c. black on magenta, initialled "E.D.W.", cut octagonally with regular margins, tied by Demerara double-arc d.s. with a second strike on the reverse; surface rubbing, creases and the piece stained, still of acceptable appearance and very rare, especially used on this large piece, which was considered as a cover in a previous census.
