12c. black on pale blue, Townsend Type A (Robson Lowe Type B), initialled "E.D.W.", cut square with circular frameline almost intact (just cut into in a couple of points), cancelled by Demerara double-arc d.s. for OC 03? 1851. Some thinning and minor wrinkling, of little significance for this very clean example, displaying quite good margins for this stamp. Fewer than twenty examples known in private hands, including about ten cut-square. S.G. 7I, £40,000. Photo
