12c. black on blue, Townsend Type B (Robson Lowe Type C), initialled "E.D.W.", cut to shape, slightly cutting into the round frameline in places, cancelled by Demerara double-arc d.s. for Apr. 15 1851. Some faults including light thinning and a small hole before the "G" of "Guiana". Surely a presentable spacefiller of this scarce stamp. S.G. 5II, £11,000. Photo
