12c. black on blue, Townsend Type B (Robson Lowe Type C), initialled "H.A.K.", cut square with good margin at top and cut into design on the other sides, cancelled by Demerara and by Berbice double-arc d.s. Red wafer seal (used to affix the stamp to envelope) remnants on the reverse and minor thinning caused by the strong impression of the Berbice handstamp. A rare stamp. S.G. 5II, £11,000. Photo
