12c. black on blue, Townsend Type A (Robson Lowe Type B), initialled "E.D.W.", cut square with mostly complete outer frameline (slightly cut into at left), lightly cancelled by Demerara double-arc d.s. Affixed to piece, thinning showing through the stamp and with frameline partially painted in, still quite fresh and of fine appearance. Ferrary and Bastels handstamps on the reverse. Rare.
