8c. black on green, Townsend Type C (Robson Lowe Type A) initialled "E.D.W.", cut to shape and cut into the round frameline at places, cancelled by Demerara double-arc d.s. for Oct. 29 1850. Lightly thinned, although of little significance for this stamp, as most of the surviving examples have this fault, otherwise fine and rare. Hunziker (1962) and Sismondo (2002) certificates.
