8c. black on green, Townsend Type C (Robson Lowe Type A) initialled "E.D.W." cut round with small to good margins outside the round frameline, just a nick between "I" and "A" of "Guiana", cancelled by Demerara double-arc d.s. for Dec. 5 1851, representing the latest usage recorded for this stamp. Thinned in places, as seen in most of the surviving examples, and with an ironed crease at foot, still of fine appearance and rare; furthermore, it is notably distinguished as the latest known surviving usage for this value.
