4c. black on lemon-yellow, Townsend Type A (Robson Lowe Type B) initialled "E.D.W.", cut round and just cut into the round frameline at places, lightly cancelled by partial Demerara double-arc, and showing additional part of red c.d.s. A central thinned area does not affect the the overall appearance. A very rare stamp. Ferrary's trefoil handstamp on the reverse. S.G. 3II, £24,000. Photo
