One of Five Covers Recorded Exhibiting the 4 Cents Black on Orange
4c. black on orange, Townsend Type A (Robson Lowe Type B), initialled "W.H.L.", showing virtually complete circular frameline, cancelled by Demerara double-arc d.s. for March 18 1851 to entire letter ex the "Quayle" correspondence from Mahaica to the Government House in Georgetown. Minor imperfections including some slight scuffing and wrinkling. Of very fine appearance and remarkably attractive with these good margins, being one of just five covers recorded with this stamp.
