SCVTVM • FIDEI • PROTEGET • EAM •, crowned square-topped shield dividing E-R, 5.662g [87.37grns], 10h, m.m. woolpack (Schneider I, 810; North 2009; S.2535A), an extraordinary coin, beautifully, naturally and arrestingly toned, with much underlying lustrous 'warmth', practically as struck, and undoubtedly amongst the finest known specimens of Charles Anthony's "elaborately bejewelled" canon, in NGC Black 'Carrington' holder, graded MS62 (Cert. #8534362-011)
