(x) NGC MS61 | Anglo-Gallic, Edward III (1327-1377), Guiennois d'Or, ED | D | GRA REX A | G | LI | DO AQVIT | A | IE, Edward standing right, holding sword and shield, within Gothic arch; below, opposed leopards; R to upper right, rev. + GLIA : In EXCELCIS : DEO : ET : In TERRA : PAX · hOIBVS, double and single pellet in annulet stops, cross fleurée and chênée with central quadrilobe; lis and leopard in alternating quarters; all within tressure of nineteen arches; pellet at end of each arc, 3.853g [59.46grns], 5h, m.m. cross pattée (Schneider III, 26; Elias 48), a trace of ghosting in fields, otherwise residually lustrous, good very fine, in NGC Black 'Carrington' holder, graded MS61 (Cert. #8536700-016)
