(g) NGC PF62 UCAM | Victoria (1837-1901), Proof Half-Sovereign, 1839, young diademed head left, with two plain fillets, no initials on truncation, rev. struck en médaille, crowned and lightly garnished shield, edge plain, 3.972g, 12h (MCE 562; W&R 344 [R3]; BMC 3587; S.3859), minor surface friction to otherwise brilliant and warmly orange-golden toned fields, a pleasingly good extremely fine, the rarer variety for issue, designated 'R3' by Wilson and Rasmussen, in NGC Black 'Pallas' holder, graded PROOF 62 ULTRA CAMEO (Cert. #8534320-003)
