(g) NGC PF63 UCAM | William IV (1830-1837), Pattern Proof Two-Pounds, 1831, by William Wyon and Jean-Baptiste Merlen, bare head right, rev. crowned shield in mantle, ANNO - 1831 below, edge plain, 15.938g, 7h (King 206; Stratos 172; W&R 258; Hill T20; EGC II, 1016; S.3828), some deft cabinet friction to neck and 'lint' artefacts in otherwise brilliant fields, a most attractive and original example, with arresting portrait cameo definition, a pleasingly good extremely fine, in NGC Black 'Pallas' holder, graded PROOF 63 ULTRA CAMEO (Cert. #8534312-001)
