NGC AU55 | Charles II (1660-1685), Guinea, 1679, fourth laureate bust right with rounded truncation, rev. crowned cruciform emblematic shields, sceptres in angles, date either side of crown over English shield, edge grained, 8.32g, 6h (EGC 267; MCE 80; S.3344), light adjustment marks across the bust and at centre of reverse, otherwise lightly toned with underlying brilliance, very fine, reverse even better, in NGC holder, graded AU55 (Cert. #8222368-008)
