Charles I (1625-1649), Group D, Type 3a, Sixpence, 1636-1638, Tower (under King), small fourth crowned bust left, with falling lace collar, no inner circles, rev. oval garnished shield, no inner circles, 2.89g, 9h, m.m. tun (North 2241; S.2813), softly struck to the portrait, partially clipped, pleasing to the obverse mint mark, nearing very fine; another, as before, 3.00g, 7h, m.m. crown (North 2241; S.2813), soft in parts, pleasing to the collar, about very fine; another, Group F, Type 4.3, Sixpence, 1641-1643, Tower (under King), sixth 'Briot's' bust left, rev. square-topped shield over cross moline, 3.18g, 7h, m.m. triangle in circle (North 2246; S.2817), clipped and mostly soft to portrait, bolder fine (3)
