AD 1100, Dover, Goldwine, crowned bust facing, annulets in fields, rev. + GOLD[PI]NE ON DOFI, cross fleury, trefoil-tipped inverted piles in angles, 1.31g [20.22grns], 3h (EMC 1200.0693; North 860; BMC I; S.1263), crimped and wavy where subtly straightened, otherwise lightly field-toned with some scuffing to legend, of excellent fabric with no official test 'snick', near very fine, extremely rare
