NGC PF61 | Victoria (1837-1901), Pattern Proof 'Gothic' Crown, MDCCCXLVII [1847] UNDECIMO, by W Wyon, crowned 'Gothic' bust left, WW on truncation, rev. crowned shields cruciform, emblems in angles, raised lettered edge downwards, 28.28g, 6h (ESC 288; Bull 2571; Spink 3883), two light edges bruises at 12 o'clock, the obverse hairlined and with the odd pinmark, otherwise brilliant beneath and with a ochre tone within the legends, more pleasingly so to the reverse, extremely fine, in NGC holder, graded PF61 (Cert. #6767985-001)
