George III (1760-1820), 'Rose' Guinea, 1786, fourth laureate head right, rev. crowned garnished shield, seven strings to harp, chevron milled edge, 8.37g, 6h (MCE 390; Farey 1250; EGC 709; Spink 3728), the obverse struck from very lightly rusted dies and a scattering of contact marking, nonetheless with a much pleasing residual lustre and amber tone to the legends, good very fine
