Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, Shilling, 1711, fourth draped bust left, rev. crowned cruciform shields, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6h, 5.96g (ESC 1158; Bull 1408; Spink 3618), crosshatch of scratches below the bust and cleaned, otherwise very fine; George I (1714-1727), South Sea Company, Shilling, 1723, first laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned cruciform shields, SS C in angles, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6h, 6.00g (ESC 1176; Bull 1586; Spink 3647), cleaned and soft to the hair, yet with a light tone to the legends, very fine; another, South Sea Company, Shilling, 1723, first laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned cruciform shields, SS C in angles, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6h, 5.92g (ESC 1176; Bull 1586; Spink 3647), on a concave flan, wiped and with deposits to the reverse, nonetheless with a uniform dark silver tone, very fine; George II (1727-1760), 'Old Head' Sixpence, 1757, laureate, cuirassed and draped bust left, rev. crowned cruciform shields, seven strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6h, 3.04g (ESC 1622; Bull 1762; Spink 3711), touch of softness to the hair, yet with a pleasing lustre, good very fine (4)
