Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, 'Plumes' Shilling, 1708, third draped bust left, rev. crowned cruciform shields, plumes in angles, seven strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6h, 5.97g (ESC 1148; Bull 1400; Spink 3611), wiped and some softness to the hair, nevertheless a light tone to the peripheries and lustrous, very fine; and Shilling, 1711, fourth draped bust left, rev. crowned cruciform shields, plain in angles, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6h, 5.99g (ESC 1158; Bull 1408; Spink 3618), lightly contact marked and soft to the higher devices, with a hint of lustre to dark grey surfaces, very fine (2)
