William Walker Carr was born at Wigton, Cumberland on 16 October 1891 and was a ship brokers clerk when he enlisted in the Army Service Corps on 8 August 1914. He served in Africa and was discharged on 12 March 1919, he remained in South Africa after the war; sold together with copied research.

Charles Moate Walshaw was born at Coventry in 1884 and was a draughtsman when he enlisted in the Royal Army Medical Corps. He died at Cambridge in 1959; sold together with copied research.
