(x) Queen's South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Cape Colony, South Africa 1902 (743 Serjt. D. R. Howard. Namaqualand B.S.), mounted as worn, light contact marks, very fine

Donald Robert Howard was born in 1881 and enlisted into the 1st Namaqualand Border Scouts in March 1902, having previously been a clerk. He is also noted as serving with the Port Nolloth Town Guard. In the 1903 Voters Roll he is noted as being a member of the Cape Police residing at Springbok and a wage employee of the government.
