(x) Gwalior Star 1843, Maharajpoor centre (Private John Smith 40th Regt), fitted with replacement white metal straight bar suspension, two points of the star appear to have been drilled and filled possibly for a different style of mounting, otherwise very fine

This unit saw various service in Australia, infamously at the Eureka Stockade in 1854.
