Albert Sydney Reynolds was commissioned Lieutenant (Quartermaster) on 1 October 1945. Although listed upon the roll for the 'Palestine 1945-48' clasp as a Captain, he was not confirmed in this rank until 1 October 1951. He relinquished his commission on 8 March 1957, being granted the Honorary rank of Major (Quartermaster). By family repute Reynolds was later a diplomat; sold together with London Gazette extracts and medal roll.
