Sydney Dare enlisted on 7 September 1914 and was discharged as a result of wounds on 8 March 1919. He is entitled to a British War and Victory Medal pair as well as a Silver War Badge (496967). His Medal Index Card has him as Sidney Dear with the regimental numbers of 1568 and 955529.
