Frank Norris lived at 42 Hindle House, Arcola Street, Hackney and served in France with the 4th (City of London) Battalion, London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers) from 13 August 1914, when the unit shared heavily in the early campaign at Mons, Le Cateau, The Marne & Aisne, Messines and the First Battle of Ypres. Norris was discharged Sick in May 1915 and appears to have died in June 1924, with his clasp issued in November 1926.
