(x) Queen's South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Transvaal, South Africa 1902 (3852 Pte H. Board. Welsh Regt), very fine

Henry Board was born at Landore, Swansea. He was a carter prior to attesting into the Welsh Regiment on 21 November 1892, tried and convicted twice during his service and served in Malta between 24 March 1893 - 23 September 1893, he then served in the East Indies between 24 September 1893 - 2 February 1902, and served in South Africa between 3 February 1902 - 12 July 1902. Board was finally discharged on 20 November 1904 this is his only medal entitlement.
